Hello! My name is Nicole.  I currently am a student at University of California, San Diego studying Cognitive Science - Human Computer Interaction and Interdisciplinary Computation in Art and Music (ICAM).

I grew up with photography in my life and I've handled various kinds of cameras, from SLRs, DSLRs, point and shoots, disposables, polaroids, etc. My current camera, used to take the majority of these photos, is the Nikon D5000 with Nikkor 60mm lens to best aid me with macro photography. Why macro photography?

Because I love the little things. The work I do generally consists of amplifying the details.  More often than not, we let the little things pass by unnoticed and unappreciated and I want to change that.

Implicit in my work is the capture, or recreation, of emotions. Surprisingly, the little things, when displayed on its own, evokes a dynamic range of emotions in viewers.

Although photography is one of my favorite mediums, I also do work in computational arts as well as audio.  If you are curious, check out my soundcloud, my blog, or email me!
